Dear Marlene, I am writing to give a big thank you for your recent Health & Safety Review you carried out my office in Morecambe. I contacted you as I was keen to make sure that our Health & safety policies were up to date and met the current legislation, as it had been a couple of years since they had been reviewed. As I employ staff I wanted to know that if the worst did happen and there was an emergency that our policies and procedures would be robust enough to handle any potential scenario and would help keep my staff safe.
You arranged a time that was convenient to come over and see the business operation we have and set about reviewing our existing procedures and advising where you believed these could be strengthened and improved. You then went away and wrote up new comprehensive procedures and policies that were clear and easy to follow.
